good start to a promise

now that i've graduated from a program that literally is the beginning of the rest of my life, i made a promise to myself that i'll take note (and by that i mean write down to remember) the names of the artists who truly strikes a chord in me.
i've been told twice in the last year that my work is kind of along the vein of this pretty fantastic canadian lady Heather Goodchild.
in my humble opinion, her brains should be friends with my brains.

felt, how i miss thee

working so much in print, dying and embroidery has me missing on my old friend Felt.
american based artist Stephanie Metz felted work doesn't help that longing what so ever...

american artist kate macdowell has mixed some of my favorite things: anatomy, nature and porcelain
